As Thanksgiving fast approaches, we'd like to know what you are thankful for? There is a basket of leaves on the table in the lobby with sharpies, just write on them what you are thankful for and pin them to the board at the end of the table. Let's fill the sign with all that we have to be thankful for.
Our next commitment to Family Promise will be the week of November 20th. This week includes Thanksgiving so we will be supplying the families with food to make a Thanksgiving dinner. In order to supply these meals we are asking for grocery gift cards to Giant, Redners or Weis. In the past you have been very generous and allowed us to not only supply this one dinner but enable the clients to purchase other needed groceries and household supplies. You truly make a difference when you give to Family Promise. Your donations and gift cards help local homeless people in often 3 months time achieve the goals of housing, jobs and a path to a better life. Thank you for your recent donations of hygiene products. The FP staff were very appreciative. Gift cards may be given to Marti Smith, Marianne Lubenow or dropped off at the church office. THANK YOU!
